Getting Ready For Fall Festivities and Christmas Holiday Season

The weather is cooling off here in Texas and fall is in the air.  This brings on the beginning of  fall festivals, the Texas State fair,  and other cool weather activities.  Also, the cool air reminds us that Christmas is just around the corner.  In fact it is less than 90 days.

For us here are Treasure Journeys that means that the Christmas shopping is already starting on our website and we need to be stocked up with great gift items and to have soups, dips, and other tasty treats on hand not only at our location in Roanoke, Texas but also for all of our great customers that shop on our website.

We have put together a short video of a few of the Karen Didion Santas that are available.  She has introduced over 25 new themed Santa Figurines for this year.  That brings the total to over 70 different Santas that are available from us.

This year we are offering Free Shipping on any Karen Didion Santas purchased on our website and an additional 10% discount on Santa orders over $130.00.

Enjoy this video and come back to visit us often.

Andalusian Horse Jeweled Trinket Box

Recently Treasure Journeys received a newly released jeweled Andalusian horse hinged trinket box by Kingspoint Designs.  The horse is a grey/white colored Andalusian horse, which is the most common coloring.  It includes a miniature Andalusian horse jeweled pendant and satin lined gift box.

The Andalusian horse is also known as the pure Spanish horse.  This breed of horse if from the Iberian Peninsula where it's ancestors has lived for thousands of years.  Throughout history it has been known for it's prowess as a war horse and has been prized by nobility.  The Andalusian horse has been owned and rode by kings all across Europe.  This is truly a majestic horse with it's long flowing mane and tail.

Found this beautiful video on You Tube:

Newly Released Gypsy Vanner Horse Trinket Box

We have just listed the newly released Gypsy Vanner horse jeweled trinket box w matching miniature horse pendant by Kingspoint Designs.

The Gypsy Vanner horse breed originates from the UK and Ireland.  Members of the breed come in a variety of colors, but predominantly are of the piebald (black and white) coloring and have many draft horse characteristics, including heavy bone and abundant feathering on the lower legs.  There is no exact known history of the Gypsy Cob (as it is sometimes called).  It is believed by some that the Gypsy Cobs are descended from a combination of Shires, Clydesdales, Friesians, and Dales Ponies with their origins in the Romani gypsy community of the United Kingdom

Here is a video I found on You Tube about the horses that is very good.

New Collectible Santa Claus Figurines

Just finished putting together a video of the new Santa Claus figurines that we have available on our website from Karen Didion Originals.  The Santas in this video are new for 2012.  We have over 40+ different Santas avaliable.
What I like about Karen's Santas is that they are created with real mohair beards, the faces and hands are hand painted resin with real glass inset eyes.  The bodies are weighted to make them free standing.  A lot of attention is given to the details of these figurines.
Watch the video to see what is new for this year.  I will be making a couple of more videos of the special lighted Santas and the special themed Santas.   You can see all of the Santas on our website: Karen Didion Santas .

You can see all of our holiday gift items by visiting us at Treasure Journeys.
